Meet Our Directors

Karen Brown has worked tirelessly as our ED over the past six years. After a previous Chamber closed its doors, Karen helped revitalize the Chamber in 2013 with a new Board. This was recognized by the the BC Chamber of Commerce and they awarded the South Shuswap Chamber as the "Chamber of Change" due largely in part to

their business model and having a “virtual office.”

In 2017 Karen was awarded Community Builder of the Year through Black Press and just recently, the South Shuswap Chamber received the Communications Awards for smaller-sized Chambers at the BC Chamber Executive’s Gala last Spring. Karen is a huge asset to our community and Chamber!
