About This Business: Karen Walters, Laura Walters, and Candice Reid of Rustic Wedding are wedding crazy. After spending hours on Pinterest and helping dozens of friends and family members get married (including Candice and Laura!), Karen brought her dream to life in 2013 when she talked her husband, brother-in-laws, sons, a groom and son-in-law into building her a 40x80 foot pavilion in order offer more storage for her winter business but to also be able to host weddings in the off season her way. Rustic, and perfectly imperfect. Her inner planner realized, she enlisted the help of her daughter-in-law and right hand gal Laura, and daughter Candice. Needless to say, it’s a family affair.
Located on 80 acres of a wild tree farm, her venue is not just another “wedding barn”. The family-built 40x80 foot post and beam wedding barn offers couples a welcome alternative to the perfectly manicured golf courses and vineyards. Guests can play bocce in the meadows or have a glass of champagne under the twinkle-lit mini gazebo while the bride and groom wander the property doing photos. The Rustic Girls wanted to do things differently in the outdoor wedding world by supplying not only a venue, but also offering wedding coordination; vintage, rustic, and bohemian décor; and floral design. Some weddings this year features flowers grown on site in Karen's flower garden! A passion for décor has The Girls collecting pretty things from thrift shops, flea markets, vintage shops, everywhere and anywhere!
The "Rustic" mission truly is to give every couple a wedding that is beautiful, different, personal, and relaxed.
