DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Sorrento Retreat and Conference Centre’s private lakefront property for a heartwarming New Year’s Community Celebration that embodies inclusivity and connection.\n\nAs we gather around a peaceful\, welcoming lakeside campfire\, we invite you to dive into the festivities-whether you choose to take the exhilarating cold plunge into the lake or to enjoy the cozy atmosphere with friends and family\, new and old.\n\nWe are also hosting a food drive to support local people in need; please bring a donation to help replenish the Sorrento Food Bank and make a difference in our community. Engage in our optional ‘out with the old\, in the new’ activity\, practice kindness\, and enjoy the camaraderie and joy that celebration with community brings.\n\nLet us practice kindness and create lasting memories together as we step into 2026 with hope and a sense of belonging.\n\n*All activities are optional\, and the cold plunge is weather-dependent. If the lake freezes over\, we will be unable to take the plunge.
