Lessard Excavating: Lessard Excavating offers a wide range of  excavation services, gravel sales, trucking and septic installations.  They are looking for a permanent full time Office Manager/Administrative Assistant to take on a number of duties.  Starting wage $20 per hour; wage will depending on experience and job performance.  

Education/Experience:  Office manager with bookkeeping experience or education.  Preference given to applicants with 3 to 5 years experience. Knowledge and experience with Sage 50 is an asset.  

Hours:  Full time 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.  The office manager would work full time from March to November each year, with minimal hours required December to February.

Tasks:  Preparing job quotes, invoicing clients, receive payments and prompt collections, handling all logistics of staff, jobs, gravel product deliveries, tracking job progress and work with customers, connecting with staff over radio and book first calls ahead of time, managing equipment insurances and inspections, managing and maintaining safety programs, creating social media posts, monitoring work opportunity websites, completing  basic bookkeeping  tasks including reconciling accounts, payroll, WCB, pay bills & government remittances in Sage 50.

Other Expectations:  Have a professional attitude at all times, practice confidentiality, learn different rock products/equipment, communicate respectfully with customers, staff and managemetn, be open to feedback, be adaptable with daily/weekly changes, resolve conflicts professionally, be  able to work independently and solve problems, implement ideas that make business more efficient.

Duties:  Answer the phone, schedule and confirm medical appointments, greet patients, receive and communicate messages, use health software and other computer applications to book appointments or prepare reports, invoices, case histories and medical records, ask patients questions to complete intake forms and other documents, help patients complete health history forms, transcribe (from handwritten notes), electronic dictation, or oral instructions, complete insurance and other claim forms, process payments, bank documents and accounts receivables, set up and maintain records management systems.  This includes classifying and coding electronic and hardcopy files, operating office equipment.  Use word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software to prepare medical documentation, perform clerical and administrative functions.
