New Year’s Community Celebration, Food Drive and Cold Plunge!

Join us at the Sorrento Retreat and Conference Centre’s private lakefront property for a heartwarming New Year’s Community Celebration that embodies inclusivity and connection.
As we gather around a peaceful, welcoming lakeside campfire, we invite you to dive into the festivities-whether you choose to take the exhilarating cold plunge into the lake or to enjoy the cozy atmosphere with friends and family, new and old.

Embrace the transformative journey of welcoming the New Year together, surrounded by the warmth of the campfire and the delightful treats of marshmallows and hot chocolate. Engage in our optional ‘out with the old, in the new’ activity, practice kindness, and enjoy the camaraderie and joy that celebration with community brings.

*All activities are optional, and the cold plunge is weather-dependent. If the lake freezes over, we will be unable to take the plunge. We will provide an update as to the condition of the lake closer to the event date.
