What Is the Poker Run?
The 30th Annual Captains Village Marina “On The Water” Poker Run involves participants drawing a playing card at each of five locations around Shuswap Lake. All five cards are brought to the Results Table at Captains Village Marina for the Worst Poker Hand at 2:00 p.m. and for the Best Hands by 3:15 p.m. Participants travel to each of the five locations by boat or by car. To enter the Poker Run, you need to do an online order of an Entry Pack.
Ordering Your Entry Pack
Online ordering for the purchase of an Entry Pack is from 9:00 a.m. Friday, May 30th until 11:00 a.m. Sunday, June 15th. You can purchase as many Entry Packs as you like. Each entry pack is $50.00.
Receipt Of Payment
When the Entry Pack transaction is successful the participant receives a receipt of payment via email.
Entry Pack Pick Up
Participants are required to pick up from Captain’s Village Marina their Entry Pack(s) by providing receipt of payment during the following dates and times:
Thursday, June 12th 10:00 – 2:00
Friday, June 13th 10:00 – 2:00
Saturday, June 14th 10:00 – 2:00
Sunday, June 15th 8:30 – 11:00
If a participant makes multiple purchases, they will receive an Entry Pack for each purchase.

9:00 a.m. – Checkpoints open
12:00 p.m. – Results Table Opens
2:00 p.m. – Deadline to submit Worst Poker Hand
3:00 p.m. – Checkpoints close
3:15 p.m. – Deadline to submit all Poker Hand(s)
3:30 p.m. – Prize money awarded and door prizes are drawn
Checkpoint Information
Collect one playing card at each of the following checkpoints. Ensure that all of your playing cards remain attached to your registration lanyard.

Poker Run Prizes
1st Prize – $1,800
2nd Prize – $ 1,200
3rd Prize – $ 700
Worst Poker Hand – $300
When determining the Worst Poker Hand and the top three Poker Hands, the ACE card is named as the high card. In the case of a tie, each participant takes a card from the deck with the high card being the winner.
